Finding a worthy replacement for Megadeth at such short notice proved to be even tougher than expected so we were forced to come up with an alternative solution.
Black Sabbath will close off the 19th edition of Graspop Metal Meeting on main stage 1 while Rob Zombie will end this year’s proceedings on main stage 2. If their memorable set at GMM2011 is anything to go by you’d better brace yourselves for one hell of a rock shock show.
By the way, don’t run off after Black Sabbath because we’ve planned a little surprise to close off the Supersized Metal Experience of GMM2014 in style.
Last week we received word that Lynch Mob were forced to cancel their entire European tour. Fortunately it didn’t take us long to fill the vacant slot because German power metallers Primal Fear jumped at the opportunity to play Graspop’s Main Stage 2 on Friday 27th June.
Also, Gojira and Gamma Ray have traded places to allow Gojira to make it to Dessel on time. This means Gamma Ray are now scheduled from 3.50pm to 4.40pm on main stage 2 and Gojira is billed from 4.50pm to 5.40pm on main stage 1.
