These are not the selfies you are looking for
June 23, 2014
Needless to say, selfies are hot and happening. But Ellen Degeneres and her Hollywood pals aren't the only ones taking self-portraits. Turns out numerous famous metalheads have joined the selfie trend.
Let's start of with the strangest one: at the beginning of the year Papa Emeritus II and his Nameless Ghouls, a.k.a Ghost, posed for a selfie with rap legend Snoop Dogg.
The car selfie is another big trend, admittedly not the safest version. Let's just assume the guys from Of Mice & Men took this picture before hitting the road.
As you may know, Behemoth dropped by Trix last February. After their concert Nergal from Behemoth and Dagon from Inquisition took a selfie together, although we're not sure Nergal is such a selfie fan.
Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst obviously loves taking selfies. He just can't seem to get enough, the band's Instagram account is literally filled with selfies of the vocalist.
Sebastian Bach is another big selfie fan and a traditional one, too. You know, taking a quick pic of yourself in the mirror, preferably with duckface.
Join the trend and take a selfie at Graspop Metal Meeting! Don't forget to use our official selfie hashtag: #gmmselfie
