NO TRAINS ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY (UPDATE)

Belgian national railways staff are staging a 24-hour strike on Sunday 29th June as of 10pm. No trains will run until 10pm on Monday 30th June!

If you choose to go home by train on Sunday, you should keep in mind that the last bus to Mol railway station runs at 6pm. There are no shuttle busses running to Mol railway station on Monday.

Several alternatives are available for those fans who were counting on travelling home by train on Monday:

Carpooling: Eventpool and #gmmcarpool

Look for a travel companion via Eventpool or #gmmcarpool and share a ride home. Eventpool is a service developed and managed by the Taxistop association. The aim of the service is to bring together visitors to an event so they can carpool or share a taxi. More information is available at: www.eventpool.be/gmm

Pick-up zone

Picking up festival visitors is only allowed in the Kiss & Ride zone in the town centre of Dessel (GPS: Markt, Dessel). A free shuttle bus will take all visitors from the festival to the Kiss & Ride zone.

Take the bus to ANTWERP, GEEL, HASSELT and LEUVEN

Buses from DE LIJN will run between the festival site and ANTWERP, GEEL, HASSELT and LEUVEN where travellers can continue their journey with regular De Lijn buses or have friends or relatives pick them up.

Bus tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance during the festival at the box office (main entrance): on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 4pm and 8pm.

· GEEL station: (connection to LEUVEN): departure on Monday at 8am, 10am and 12am (5 euros/ticket)

· HASSELT station: departure on Monday at 8am, 10am and 12am (10 euros/ticket)

· ANTWERP Groenplaats: departure on Monday at 9am, 11am and 01pm (10 euros/ticket)

Take the bus to GENT, BRUSSELS, LUIK, BRUGGES and EINDHOVEN (HOL)

METALBUS is running buses to GENT, BRUSSELS, LUIK and BRUGGES. This service brings our visitors closer to home so they can complete the last leg of their journey by taxi or regular De Lijn bus, or have friends or relatives pick them up. Dutch festivalgoers can take the Metalbus to Eindhoven-Central Station and continue their journey with the Dutch railways (NS).

Bus tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance during the festival at the box office (main entrance): on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 4pm and 8pm.

· BRUGGES station: departure on Monday at 10am and 01.30pm (15 euros/ticket)

· GENT Sint Pieter: departure on Monday at 10am and 01.30pm (15 euros/ticket)

· LUIK station: departure on Monday at 10am and 01.30pm (15 euros/ticket)

· BRUSSELS station South: departure on Monday at 10am and 01.30pm (15 euros/ticket)

· EINDHOVEN central station (NL): departure on Monday at 10am and 01.30pm (15 euros/ticket)

TREINSTAKING OP ZONDAG EN MAANDAG

Vanaf zondag 29 juni 22u tem maandag 30 juni 22u is het personeel van NMBS van plan om te staken waardoor er geen treinen zullen rijden! Wil je op zondag met de trein terug naar huis, weet dan dat de laatste shuttlebus naar het station in Mol vertrekt om 18u. Op maandag rijden er geen shuttlebussen richting het station in Mol.

Voor festivalgangers die op de trein rekenen om op maandag terug naar huis te keren, stellen we volgende alternatieven voor:

Laat je ophalen in de Kiss&Ride zone

Festivalbezoekers ophalen kan enkel in de Kiss & Ride zone in het centrum van Dessel (GPS: Markt, Dessel). Een gratis pendelbus brengt de festivalgangers van het festivalterrein naar de Kiss & Ride zone.

Met de bus naar ANTWERPEN, GEEL, HASSELT en LEUVEN

De Lijn legt bussen in rechtstreeks van de festivalweide naar ANTWERPEN, HASSELT en GEEL van waar festivalgangers verder kunnen reizen met reguliere bussen van De Lijn, of zich kunnen laten ophalen door hun familie of kennissen.

De zitplaatsen op deze bussen zijn beperkt, en moeten op voorhand gereserveerd worden: op vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag tussen 16u en 20u aan de dagkassa (hoofdingang van het festival):

· GEEL station (aansluiting naar LEUVEN): vertrek op maandag om 8u, 10u en 12u / 5euro per ticket

· HASSELT station: vertrek op maandag om 8u, 10u en 12u / 10euro per ticket

· ANTWERPEN Groenplaats: vertrek op maandag om 9u, 11u en 13u / 10euro per ticket

Opstapplaats: bushalte DE LIJN (volg de aanwijsborden ‘DE LIJN’).

Met de bus naar GENT, BRUSSEL, LUIK, BRUGGE en EINDHOVEN (NL)

Metalbus brengt festivalgangers van de festivalweide naar GENT, BRUSSEL, LUIK, BRUGGE en BRUSSEL. Met deze optie komen bezoekers dichter bij huis en kunnen ze vandaar verder per taxi, bus of opgehaald worden door vrienden of familie. Nederlandse festivalgangers kunnen de Metalbus nemen naar EINDHOVEN STATION om dan per trein verder te reizen met NS.

De zitplaatsen op deze bussen zijn beperkt, en moeten op voorhand gereserveerd worden: op vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag tussen 16u en 20u aan de dagkassa (hoofdingang van het festival):

AIREXPRESSBUS biedt op maandag 30 juni busritten aan naar Brussels Airport en Charleroi Airport om 6u30, 9u en 11u: Je zitplaats boeken dient online te gebeuren via www.eventexpressbus.nl (pc’s zijn beschikbaar aan de infostand).

 

PAS DE TRAIN LE DIMANCHE ET LE LUNDI!

Du dimanche 29 juin à 22h au lundi 30 juin à 22h inclus, le personnel de la SNCB débraiera. Aucun train ne roulera donc durant cette période ! Ceux qui désirent rentrer avec les transports en commun le dimanche doivent savoir que le dernier bus part à 18h vers la gare de Mol. Aucun bus ne roulera le lundi vers la gare à Mol.

Pour les festivaliers qui comptaient sur le train pour rentrer chez eux le lundi, nous proposons les alternatives suivantes

Trouvez des covoitureurs via #gmmcarpool ou Eventpool et rentrez chez vous ensemble. Eventpool est un service développé et géré par l’asbl Taxistop. ZONE KISS & RIDE

Venir chercher des festivaliers peut uniquement se faire dans la zone Kiss & Ride dans le centre de Dessel (GPS : Markt, Dessel). Des bus font la navette gratuitement entre le festival et la zone Kiss & Ride.

Des bus à destination ANVERS, GEEL, HASSELT et LOUVAIN

Des bus de DE LIJN feront la navette entre le festival et Anvers Geel, Hasselt et Louvain, d’où les festivaliers pourront emprunter les bus normaux de De Lijn ou embarquer dans la voiture d’un ami ou d’un parent.

Les tickets de bus sont limités et doivent être achetés à l’avance pendant le festival à la caisse du jour (l’entrée principal): le vendredi, samedi et dimanche du 16h à 20h

· GEEL gare (connexion à LOUVAIN): départ le lundi à 8h, 10h et 12h (5euros/ticket)

· HASSELT gare: départ le lundi à 8h, 10h et 12h (10 euros/ticket)

Des bus à destination GAND, BRUXELLES, LIÈGE, BRUGGES et EINDHOVEN (PB)

Grâce à METALBUS, des bus directs à destination GAND, BRUXELLES, LIÈGE et BRUGGES permettant ainsi aux festivaliers de se rapprocher de chez eux et ensuite de poursuivre leur route en taxi, en bus ou dans la voiture d’un ami ou d’un parent. Les festivaliers néerlandais peuvent prendre le Metalbus jusqu’à la gare centrale d’EINDHOVEN et continuer en train.
